My child has a congenital heart defect. We ended up in the Leipzig hospital with the aim of installing a stent on the aortic arch. We were convinced of the need for this procedure by domestic doctors. Before the operation in a German clinic, we were sent for a comprehensive examination. His results showed that the child needs a completely different procedure. The specialists explained what kind of treatment is necessary and carried it out at the highest level. I would like to note that everyone who works at the clinic is good-natured and very good people, whether it's a simple nurse or a famous professor. When the call button was pressed, the nurse was almost instantly in our ward. Yes, the problem of the language barrier periodically arose, but doctors and medical staff found ways to communicate with us, and we understood each other. We were treated by Professor Denert. As soon as the results of the examination were known, the professor personally came to our ward and told us about the upcoming treatment. It turned out that he speaks Russian quite well. Surprisingly, during our stay in the clinic, we received as much information as the doctors at home could not give us for two years.

Very large in size, a lot of staff, a lot of patients. I took the child here for examination, in Ukraine, and we ourselves from Vinnytsia, at birth, were diagnosed with a heart defect, which we were going to operate on at the age of three months. My wife's employee at work recommended us to go to Germany, gave us the coordinates and we got to Dusseldorf. Here it turned out that the defect that we wanted to urgently operate in Ukraine is located in the muscular zone of the cardiac septum and the operation is not necessary, since the size of the hole is small and it will close itself during the growth of the child. In general, it took us 3 days to make an accurate diagnosis and receive treatment recommendations. Unfortunately, of course, I had to wait almost 1.5 months for the recording.
